"Alright."

Barclay handed her back the phone.

Moira reached out to take the phone, opened the photo album, and saw the picture Barclay had just taken. The warmth that had only just faded from her face surged back again.

Why would he take such a flirtatious, atmospheric photo?

"Could you send me the photos?"

She was lost in thought as Barclay's voice brought her back to reality. "Sure." Moira quickly sent the photos to his phone.

"Could you send me those photos you just took?" Barclay clarified.

"Huh?"

"The ones you took."

"Uh-oh, okay."

Was he going to post them on Instagram too?

Moira couldn't help but wonder. If Barclay posted these photos on Instagram, wouldn't there be a flood of comments from people?

She didn't even dare to imagine and think about what it would be like if she posted these photos on her own Instagram.

"Are you editing the photos?" Barclay asked, noticing that she hadn't posted them on Instagram yet.

Moira blinked, feeling a bit flustered. "I'm trying to figure out what caption to add."

She wasn't exactly lying. While she had the photos, coming up with the right words was proving to be a challenge.

After much deliberation, Moira couldn't come up with anything better, so she settled for a simple yet blunt caption. "Love isn't just on Valentine's Day. It's every day."

After posting, she couldn't help but cover her warm cheeks for a moment before she was ready to speak to Barclay.

Before she could say anything, she noticed that Barclay had already liked the Instagram post.

Wasn't that a bit too quick?

Moira glanced up at him, suddenly remembering something. "Mr. Covington, weren't you supposed to be on a business trip?"

"So?" Barclay responded.

"How come you're back?" Moira asked.

"It's Valentine's Day. Shouldn't we be spending it together?" He replied as if it were the most obvious thing in the world, causing Moira to momentarily forget they were just pretend spouses.

She pursed her lips, hesitating. "Actually, I got you a gift too, but..."

Moira hesitated for a moment and watched him turn away. Almost involuntarily, she called out to him, "Mr. Covington!"

Barclay paused, turning back to look at her, his eyebrows raised in curiosity. "Is there something else we missed?"

She shook her head and looked into his eyes. "Did you come back specifically to spend Valentine's Day with me?"

"Wouldn't you like that?" Barclay countered.

Moira didn't pursue further. She felt asking more would be pushing it. "Thank you. I've never really celebrated Valentine's Day before."

She thought about it and felt a bit pathetic.

She had been with Alfie for over two years, but every Valentine's Day had involved Claire in some way.

Now, spending Valentine's Day with Barclay, despite all the complications, it was the most complete one she had experienced.

Barclay looked at her for a moment, then suddenly turned back. "There is indeed something missing."

Moira was puzzled and looked up at him innocently. "What's missing?"

Before she could finish her sentence, she felt Barclay lower his head, his lips meeting hers. In that brief moment, Moira felt like her mind went blank.

Barclay ruffled her hair gently. "Mrs. Covington, this is the real Valentine's Day. Goodnight."
