I am Hardcore. The prospect my president sent to ask the woman questions. Savage watched as I walked over to the bar after talking to her. He watched as I walked back to her table again and sat a beer in front of her. I watched as she looked at him with suspension then said something to him. He turned and I watched as he walked over to my table and sat down.

Well, who is she and why has she been coming in the bar and what is she working on? Well, I didn't get her name, she didn't give it to me. But our mystery woman knows Richard and she hates him. He knows who she is. I have seen him looking over at her now and then. He best stay away from her. She is wearing a gun and if he goes near her she will shoot him. Anyway, she lives across the street from this bar and is attending online college to get her Masters Degree in Social Work.

She wants to become either a drug and alcohol counselor or work with foster kids. I verified she is doing school assignments. What she is currently working on right now is 50% of her grade. She is not interested in our MC. She also said that if it bothers us having her here she will go to another bar. The closest bar to this one is two blocks away. I told her she was fine and would be safer here than there.

So, she is not interested in any of us or our MC. Nope. She just likes the atmosphere and being around people. She lives alone and she said she likes listening to music as she works. Did you see what she was writing? I did. She is checking off the assignments she completes. She seems shy and just wants to sit by herself. I think she is a people watcher. OK, you can go back to the bar. I sat and watched her facial expressions as she worked on her laptop. At times she would put her pen between her teeth or she would tap her fingers as she read.

After she had been working for about an hour I saw her rub her face. Then I watched as she took a pill bottle out of the pocket of her jacket and shake out a couple of them before swallowing them with a drink of beer. Then I watched as she took the wristband off her wrist and put her hair up in a ponytail. She never once looked up toward any of the men in the bar. Now and then I would see her pen cross something out on her tablet.
