Angeline pushed her plate to the side and questioned Jens with a grave expression on her face, "Jens, where’s Whitty? She usually comes to have meals with us. She'd greet me in the morning and at night as well. Why don’t I see her tonight?”

Guilt flashed across Jens’ gaze. He figured that he had to coax Whitney back to his side as soon as possible regardless of everything. Otherwise, he would not be able to hide it from his mother. "Mommy, Whitty needs to take care of something. She won’t be having dinner with us tonight. However, don't worry. She'll be back tomorrow."

Whitney. Therefore, she did not blame him.

Her gaze landed on Baby Robbie. "Baby Robbie, what's going on? You’ve been looking extremely downcast after returning this time around. You don't seem to have the spirit of youth within you at all. Where’s your past vigor and haughty demeanor?"

Dinner ended in a joyous atmosphere.
