"Daniel called ..." I began to say, so they all looked at me.

"What? Do you still have a connection with your sister's ex-fiancé?" My husband said, I know he didn't really want Daniel for my sister even before. But he did not said anything about it but I only noticed to his actions then.

"A-ah. He was still asking about Leysa's whereabouts and he just informed me that he is with my sister now," I told them.

"Seriously, Diana? You let my friend with that damn ex of hers?" Monica, Leysa's friend who is now the wife of Fred's other friend David Falcon, suddenly spoke.

Irritated by this woman's sarcasm, I stayed calm, and smiled.

"Of course, 'cause as far as I can remember, Daniel was a good guy ... so whatever Leysa's reason is, why didn't she show up at their wedding is definitely my sister's fault. Anyways, my sister was still lucky because Daniel is reaching out to her," I said and defended Daniel.

So she just gave me a bad look and a sarcastic smirked.

Witch!

LEYSA'S POV

"So how are you Leys?" the person next to me asked so I looked at him and smiled.

"I am fine ..." I replied without hesitation and looked back outside the bus.

"A-ah. What happened, Leys?" he asked, out of nowhere.

I looked at him again.

"What really happened to us, Dan?"

Yes. I unexpectedly meet my ex-fiancé here on the bus I was riding.

How coincidental...

"I don't know either, but why did you leave me hanging there?" he also answered my question with a question.

I smirked.

"I just realized that I don't really love you. That's it!" I simply answered, which made him bow down.

"Hmm. Sorry ..." he said, out of nowhere. So I frowned.

"Why are you the one saying sorry, it should be me, Dan!" I answered with a laugh and poked him on the shoulder. So he looked at me.

"I should be the one saying that --I ditched you, Dan ... so, I am sorry, really sorry," I just said.

"Can we start again, Leys?" he asked with a smile.

And yes, I am with Dan. Actually, I believe that it was just a coincidence that we met on the bus because he actually had to go to a conference in Laoag, but then he agreed to go with me here.

I took the lead in walking inside the resort that's why I turned to look at him. And I found him staring at me intently. Full of sadness and regret, I might say.

Too bad, I loved him more than I loved myself before, but then he ruined it –he ruined me.

"Dear Dan. If only you hadn't been blinded by my sister's savagery, we would have been happy to form a family now," I said to myself as I smiled looking at Dan who was probably back in his senses when he noticed I was looking at him.

Oh well, by the way, we were at the front desk and I asked where Diana was. And I also found out that my older brother took a helicopter ride so he came here first. If I only knew that, but it's okay, atleast Dan and I met again. Even though I know my sister will surely makes a way for us to meet again. Anyway, it's comforting this way because, we meet again unexpectedly.

"They're at the restaurant, Mam," the receptionist answered me. So Dan and I went straight to where they were.

We had not yet reached their table when someone greeted me with a hug.

I smiled as I familiarized myself with who it was. "Best friend! Seriously I miss you. You are also annoying, you witch. You did not even show up to me when you came home here in the Philippines." Monica, my very own best friend said, she also flirted with Fred's friend Cong. David Falcon, so now they are married and have a baby boy.

I hugged her back.

"Crazy. If I know you're on your honeymoon again, that's why I didn't bother you. Anyways, I miss you too!" I answered.

I noticed she looked at the man behind me and she loosen her hug to me, and approached Dan, she pushed him softly.
