Alice looked at Chloe. “I don’t respond to moral blackmail.” She’d heard that line countless times from the Windhams. 

Chloe was indignant.“This isn’t blackmail! I apologized! You’re acting superior!” She’d never had to beg anyone before. Alice was being unreasonable. 

Alice said calmly, “For your viewing pleasure.” 

Chloe burst into tears, blaming Chloe. Alice was ungrateful. 

Chloe saw a post about Jason’s confession to Alice. She was furious.“Alice, you refused to help because you’re with Jason, right?” 

Chloe said, “Chloe, what are you saying? Alice wouldn’t be with him!” 

“I’m not lying! Look at this!” Knowing she’d slept with Jason without a public declaration, she felt betrayed. 

Chloe’s voice was venomous.“She refused because she’s a bitch! Orphans have no morals!” 

Alice slapped her. Chloe screamed. 

“You can insult me and my living family, but not my dead parents!” 

“Alice, are you with Jason?!” 

Alice scoffed.“Jason’s trash. Only “you” would sleep with him. Think everyone’s as blind as you?” 

“I’ll kill you! You country bumpkin! How dare you be so arrogant?!” Chloe was beside herself. Why did Alice refuse to help? Why did she get everything so easily? 

Alice pushed Chloe away.“Begging requires the right attitude. Stop with the moral blackmail.”

“Does begging guarantee my help? Pathetic!” Chloe’s begging had been demanding, as if Alice owed her a favor. Alice had been morally blackmailed her whole life by the Windhams; she despised it. 

Alice changed into workout clothes and left for boxing practice. 

Chloe, red–eyed with fury, called Jason.“Jason, I have a way to get Alice. Delete the videos and photos of me!” 

Jason, humiliated, was plotting revenge when this opportunity arose. 

“Deal!” 

Chloe glared at Alice’s bed.“Since you mocked. me, I’ll do the same to you!” 

Chloe protested, “Chloe, this is wrong!” 

“Shut up! Alice forced me! I’ll destroy her!” 

Chloe worried about Chloe’s escalating actions. 

Alice trained intensely at the gym, punching the heavy bag, still angry at Jason. She returned to the dorm exhausted. 

She went to get water; the dispenser was empty. 

“Alice, I bought drinks. Have some.” Chloe offered a bottle, which Alice eyed suspiciously.

Alice took the bottle, noticing Chloe’s hopeful expression. She put it down. Chloe was nervous.“Alice, why aren’t you drinking? Still angry?”

Alice grabbed Chloe, forcing the water into her mouth.“Drink

Chloe struggled, coughing. Alice released her; Chloe ran to spit out the water. Alice said coldly, “What are you doing? Is it poisoned?” 

Chloe laughed cruelly. “Even without this water, you can’t escape! 

The bathroom door opened. Jason emerged, in a dress and wig–in drag! He looked Alice up and down. “You acted high and mighty. You wanted me to lick your shoes? I’l| make you lick mine.” 

Chloe smiled viciously.“We’ll make a video. Alice will obey then.” 

Jason approached, “Behave, or I’ll hit you!” 

Alice stepped back and punched him. She kicked him. “Trash like you wouldn’t sell on the street. You’re ugly and disgusting!” 

He tried to get up. Alice kicked him out of the dorm, yelling, “Everyone! A cross–dresser is in our dorm! Help!” 

Jason, panicked, ran down the stairs. Alice kicked him again, sending him tumbling. Girls emerged, seeing a man in a dress and wig. They grabbed brooms and filmed him. Jason covered his face.“Don’t film me!” 

“A cross–dresser acting tough! He looks familiar.” 

“I know him! The club captain, Jason!” 

“He’s a pervert!”

tried to run, but Alice kicked him down. 

Alice looked down at him.“Who said you could stand? Crawl out of the women’s dorm!” 

The girls yelled, “Get out!” “Scum!““Pervert!” They threw trash at him. He crawled down the stairs, his leg possibly broken.

The dorm manager arrived.“What’s going on? Why are

The dorm manager said, “Jason was here for a drill. He’s not a pervert!” Alice realized the dorm.

The dorm manager’s face paled. 

Jason pushed Chloe away.“This isn’t over!”

Police arrived and arrested Jason. 

Alice smiled. Justice was served. 

The dorm manager accused Alice, “You and Jason are a couple! Why did you make a big deal out 

of this?” 

“I have nothing to do with Jason.” 

“Then why did he confess to you?” 

Alice mocked her.“A confession makes us a about explaining your 

couple? You should worry bribery and letting a man into the dorm!” 

The dorm manager sat down, defeated. 

Chloe applauded.“Alice did the right thing! Jason is a bad person!” 

Alice looked at the girls. “Rest. Use the videos as evidence. We’re all witnesses. They can silence one person, but not all of us!” 

Alice returned to her room. Chloe helped Chloe, still disoriented. Seeing Jason arrested, she sobered up. She was scared and didn’t confront Alice.. 

Alice said to Chloe, “Thanks to you, we got rid of Jason.” Without Chloe’s help, the García family would have intimidated her. 

Chloe said, “I didn’t do much. You helped everyone.” 

Chloe slapped Chloe. You told Alice!” She’d been confused why Alice hadn’t drunk the water. Alice slapped Chloe and splashed her with water. “Don’t be ungrateful. Chloe told me about. your plan, and she asked me to delete Jason’s videos of you. That’s the only way to solve it permanently.” 

Chloe was stunned. She’d been desperate after Alice’s refusal. 

Alice released her.“And we don’t know if Jason has backups. The police are the only way to delete everything.”
