“Why should I help you? Besides, Hunter Davis’s been caught, those videos and pictures will all be deleted; they never got out. You’re just stupid; whose fault is that? 

Jane crumbled. She realized she’d made a mistake, shouldn’t have tried to shift the blame onto Alice. Otherwise, Alice wouldn’t have revealed the truth. 

The professor turned to Jane. “How do you explain this?” 

Jane trembled, terrified. It wasn’t me! I didn’t do anything!” 

“But last night, many students heard your conversation with Hunter Davis. You planned this with him!”

Luke slammed his hand on the desk.“I’m Alice’s brother, her guardian. Why can’t I be here?” 

A guardian? 

The headmaster wilted at the mention of a guardian. “Isn’t Alice an orphan?” 

The advisor spoke up.“Headmaster, I told you, she’s not an orphan.” 

The headmaster hadn’t been present during the online rumors incident. But he and the principal had been thoroughly embarrassed. 

“Who said Alice is an orphan? Our parents passed away a long time ago, but she has a brother!” 

The advisor whispered, “But the person who came last time wasn’t you.
