Alice glared at Caleb “Get lost!” 

Caleb remained unmoved.“I wondered why you changed. You have a man backing you now. Alice, do you have any shame?” 

Alice said coldly, “What shame? Captain Mo and I are friends.” 

“Sister Alice, Mo was clearly protective of you. He likes you. But if Mr. Yates finds out about you and Mo, will he be angry?” She waited for Alice’s panicked reaction, but her face remained. impassive. Caleb was shocked.“Chloe, what do you mean? Alice found Guoguo.“How’d the autograph collection go?” 

“Great! Many were fans and happily agreed to pictures.” 

“It’s late. Let’s go.” 

Alice said goodbye to Mo and Daniel. Mo said, “Let’s go together. This party was boring.” Alice noticed Mo’s sunglasses. “Is that a special look?” 

“Yes, cool! Mo awkwardly adjusted his sunglasses, striking a pose.“Cool, right?

They left. Mo watched their taxi leave, waving. 

Daniel approached, his gaze complex. “You like her, huh?” Mo had been protective of Alice all night.

Daniel asked, “Is the engagement with Ms. Garcia real?” Rumors lasted so long; there must be something to it. 

“No. Mom is obsessed. My brother never confirmed it. She thinks time will change his mind. Impossible.” Mo knew his brother. Once he made a decision, nobody could change it. Daniel took off Mo’s sunglasses.“Whose handiwork are these?”
