Noah sighed.“She’s in the ER.” 

Ethan’s voice softened, his expression uneasy.“What? She’s injured?” 

Noah was furious.“Brother, you know Four’s temper. If he hit her, Alice couldn’t have avoided injury. Brother, you haven’t shown any concern for Alice, our sister!” The live stream clearly. showed Blake striking Alice first. 

Ethan quickly defended himself.“But Alice’s skilled in self–defense. If they fought, it could have gone either way.” 

Chloe interjected, “Brother, Alice only has superficial injuries, but Four is seriously hurt; his face is disfigured. It’ll be hard to fix. What will he do?”

The officer stopped her.“You can’t leave yet. You said you were injured and needed a medical examination. We need your statement.”

Noah took Chloe’s phone, unlocked it, and gave it to the officer. Chloe’s eyes flickered; a cold smile played on her lips. After the surveillance video incident, she was cautious; she’d deleted the incriminating evidence after showing it to Blake.
