Luke wasn’t entirely confident. Alice had changed drastically. But he believed, no matter how angry she was, she wouldn’t do this; she was just sulking. She’d still favor him. Alice watched coldly, a smirk playing on her lips. The Windhams remained as self–assured as

Alice walked towards the registration desk. Jane fumed. “Why is Chloe guilt–tripping you? You can choose any platform!”

At the registration desk, Chloe appeared.“Alice, what are you doing here?” Chloe, in a luxurious. dress and expensive jewelry, looked like a princess. Alice was gone; she was the only heiress now. Chloe touched her necklace, feigning concern.“Alice, you could have told me you wanted to come. I have extra dresses you could have borrowed. Look how poorly dressed

Luke stared at Alice’s dress, hoping she’d realize how good she had it at home and return. Chloe gritted her teeth.“This event requires invitations. Did you and Jane get part–time jobs as greeters?”

Jane retorted, “Alice achieved the twelve–hit combo and won the revival match! She wouldn’t take a lowly job!” 

People overheard.

I heard about the twelve–hit combo–King’s signature move! She’s so young! Reporters surrounded Alice.“Miss Alice, how did you learn the twelve–hit combo? What’s your relationship with King?” 

Alice replied calmly, I’m a King fan. It was a coincidence.” 

Chloe was jealous. What was so special about a coincidence?

Luke opened his mouth but couldn’t speak. He glared at Alice. How dare she say this to reporters? Wasn’t she afraid of angering him? 

Chloe, linking arms with Luke, smiled.“Alice’s just having a little disagreement with the family.
