[Ivan's POV]

I didn't know what to say as Arissa's words hit me. In a way, she was right, but hearing that from someone so young was a little unnerving.

"Anyway," she continued, "I appreciate you helping me escape that hell, uncle. But I don't want to live with you."

Turning, she began to make her way deeper into the forest as I tried to get myself together.

"What have I told you about using that word?" I growled, moving forward and grabbing her.

I lifted her, heaving her over my shoulder, and smacked her luscious ass while she tried to process what was going on.

"What?" She yelped as I smacked a second time. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?"

"What have I told you about using that word?"

If she was going to forget, then I would make her remember. Personally, I didn't have an issue with using it as an excuse to touch her ass.

"Now, we're going back so you can get cleaned up and treated."

I didn't miss the fact that her arms were scratched up from where the arrows hit her. Her face also sported bloody marks, and the dress she was currently wearing was now covered in blood.

"I said I didn't want!" Arissa growled as I began to move. "Put me down!"

"Not happening."

Since I brought her to the estate, I had been lenient and it was time to teach her to obey. I would break this defiant attitude and make sure nothing like this happened again.

When we got back, I immediately took her to her room. I continued to move until I was standing in the bathroom. Leaning down, I turned on the spout, allowing steaming hot water to begin to fill the tub.

"What are you doing?" Arissa asked as I began to move her off my shoulder.

"This," I snapped, throwing her into the water that had already gathered.

"AAHHH!"

Not moving, I watched as she flailed in the water and had to suppress the urge to laugh. When she was flustered, she reminded me of a puppy, and I found it quite endearing.

"YOU ASSHOLE!" She screamed, ruining the moment. "What the hell?"

"You need to wash." I responded in amusement.

"So you decided it was a good idea to throw me in the water fully clothed?"

She was trying her best to look intimidating, but soaking wet, she looked far from it.

"You called me uncle." I pointed out, deciding to tease her a bit so her feathers would get ruffled even more.

"And?" She challenged.

"I specifically remember telling you that I would punish you every time you used it."

For a moment, she just stared at me, her face turning redder and redder with rage.

"I...I…" She stammered, unable to form sentences. "Forget it."

In an instant, she relaxed and submerged herself further. The look of anger that had been on her face moments prior shifted to one of amusement.
