Shirley staggered backward but managed to steady herself. However, the girl with the water bucket fell to the ground.

In a fit of anger, Shirley kicked the bucket, causing more water to spill onto the floor.

Evelyn dared not complain. She just quietly wiped the water off the floor as if someone would berate her for being inefficient.
