Chapter 113

The welcomes were all set up after the plane touched down at the destination.

On Melanie‘s end, Nathaniel arranged everything, and the hotel had also been pre–booked. Although Melanie was already by the car door, she still wanted to see Lily‘s ride.

Even if La Beauté Group backed Rebirth, they were still a trivial subsidiary company. They might not be as strong as MN Inc. in terms of scale, but it seemed they wanted to be pretentious and join the first–class cabin.

“Ms. Thayer?” The person picking her up wondered why Melanie did not want to get in the car and tried to remind her.

“Got it,” Melanie replied, and just as she was about to get into the car, she saw the person she was looking for.

Lily and Jenny were not in a hurry. They walked out slowly while dragging their suitcases, and then...

A Rolls–Royce!

There was no way that she could not recognize that car! It was a Rolls–Royce indeed, and although she could not identify the series, it was definitely expensive.

Her eyes were fixed tightly on Lily and Jenny as they approached. Melanie thought, ‘No way. It‘s just a coincidence. There‘s no way the car‘s here to pick them up!‘

Melanie gripped her car door while observing their suitcases being loaded into the trunk. Lily then entered the car and left.

Frank‘s demeanor was neutral as she turned to look at him. Melanie, on the other hand, was expressive of her emotions the entire ride, so Frank probably noticed what was happening.

She no longer needed to hide anything from Frank, so she was direct and asked, “Mr. Moreau, with your status and worth, you should have the best, right? With an arrangement like ours, do you feel undervalued?” Of course, Frank understood her thoughts. He smiled disapprovingly, “Indeed! It‘s a bit shabby.”

Looking up at the car, the faint smile on his face made Melanie’s face red to the root of her neck.

“It doesn‘t matter. When I go out, I pay little attention to it. However, I‘m not too satisfied with the hotel. I‘ve already upgraded the room earlier.”

Hearing that, Melanie continued to ask, “Is it the presidential suite?” Shrugging, he did not answer her question but said, “I only upgraded mine, so your room may not be on the same floor as mine, Mel.” Melanie kept quiet. When they arrived at the hotel, their room keys were not on the same floor, and the receptionists at the front desk were very enthusiastic about Frank. That made Melanie even more depressed
