She even thought about asking Anastasia about the origin of agarwood and if she had any experience growing it.

Before she decided whether to visit the woman, she received a guest instead. Olivia approached with an armful of snacks and toys for Galen, and he smiled as he saw her.

Nonetheless, Olivia's mind was elsewhere. After hugging Galen and having her face smeared with spittle, she hurried to the garden to see the precious plant.

"Oh my! It's agarwood!"

Although she knew Lily would not make a mistake, she was amazed to see it. The rare plant was young and small, but based on its condition, it was the best of the best.

"Is Mr. Russell the one who got you this cool thing?" Raising her brow, Olivia grabbed an apple and took a bite.

Lily shook her head. "How would he know about a plant like this?"

"Hey, how could you say that? Didn’t Mr. Russell gather those valuable materials in our lab from all over the world? He might not know much, but he’s willing to make an effort, okay?"

Olivia used to side with Lily instead of Alexander, but now she "betrayed" her.

Awed by how Alexander had meticulously taken care of everything from the studio to the equipment, she thought Edward could not hold a candle to him.

‘Why can't Edward learn anything from Mr. Russell? Especially after spending so many years with him"

"From how I see it, the agarwood has taken all of your attention lately, and the new product would have to wait."

Olivia shook her head, but she was not too bothered by it.

Lily was hardworking and highly productive. Besides, all their previous perfumes were still selling well. Olivia was surprised, though, to see her decide so quickly to drop out of the project after she had been so interested in the research institute at first.

"Yes, we'll have to wait." Getting up, Lily said in a trance.

‘It's not because of the plant. I feel the research institute won't give up so easily"
