Fortunately, Anastasia had little interest in sweet beverages. Now, she was just actively trying to drink water.

"That's great!" Maria exclaimed, even though she did not believe Anastasia. "I was afraid Mrs. Russell might’ve influenced you. You know your dad has been worried sick about you. I heard you've been controlling your diet, haven't you? It seems like it's working. You look a little thinner than before.

“Although it's only a little, you're still losing weight. How can someone your size lose weight without being hungry? Don't listen to the nonsense Mrs. Russell is telling you. Is she the one telling you not to see the miracle doctor? From what I see, she has no good intentions! You shouldn't mix around with her anymore!"

After everything Maria said, she got upset when she did not receive a response.

"All right, enough drinking! If you drink too much, you’ll gain weight!" She snatched the glass out of Anastasia's hand. However, Anastasia quickly dodged.

"Tasia, do you know who you're talking to? When did you become so rude?" She immediately scolded with a downcasted face.

At this moment, Anastasia banged the glass onto the counter, making Maria jump.

"Aunt Marie! How can you come to my house and call me fat with every sentence you speak, especially since you’re my aunt? Have you ever thought about how I feel?" Anastasia spat coldly, "Besides, Lily is my friend! I don't like people slandering my friends like this!"
