Fortunately, Anastasia had little interest in sweet beverages. Now, she was just actively trying to drink water.

Maria rushed over and pushed all the snacks on the counter to the ground when she saw her niece walking toward the kitchen counter. Anastasia was speechless. Ultimately, she quietly hovered over Maria's hands and took a glass of water.

"I don't want to eat them," Anastasia answered solemnly. She was full today, and she was not craving any snacks. She was just a little thirsty.

"That's great!" Maria exclaimed, even though she did not believe Anastasia. "I was afraid Mrs. Russell might’ve influenced you. You know your dad has been worried sick about you. I heard you've been controlling your diet, haven't you? It seems like it's working. You look a little thinner than before.

“Although it's only a little, you're still losing weight. How can someone your size lose weight without being hungry? Don't listen to the nonsense Mrs. Russell is telling you. Is she the one telling you not to see the miracle doctor? From what I see, she has no good intentions! You shouldn't mix around with her anymore!"

After everything Maria said, she got upset when she did not receive a response.

"All right, enough drinking! If you drink too much, you’ll gain weight!" She snatched the glass out of Anastasia's hand. However, Anastasia quickly dodged.
