Anastasia stayed until nightfall as Lily wanted to see how her body responded to the medicine.

The young woman had gone to the toilet five times in the afternoon.She did not feel much pain in her stomach, which kept growling and making her fart.

Embarrassed, Anastasia wanted to leave several times, but Lily stopped her.

Lily told her that these were normal reactions to the medicine and she did not need to feel embarrassed.

Besides, Lily had to observe Anastasia to make sure she was okay before she could make further adjustments to her prescription.

Anastasia had asked her if she should try the bean prescription given by Austin, but Lily did not allow her, saying that it might clash with hers.

However, if she wanted to, she could try it after finishing Lily’s prescription.

Fully trusting Lily now, Anastasia, however, had given up that idea.

Stepping out of the toilet for the last time, she felt drained and sweating, like she had taken a hot bath.

Lily smoothed the blanket, then straightened up and walked to the doorway.

Looking back, she switched off the light but did not shut the door.

Daisy and Galen slept in the same room, with him on a bigger bed, while she used the smaller bed beside it.

This way, she could better take care of him, and he wouldn’t be scared if he woke up at night.
