There was anxiety in Mike’s eyes as he looked up.

He was unusually short and looked like he had slid down from his chair.He neared Mike, and when he half- knelt in front of him, they were of the same height and eye level.

His voice was dismissive, and his cunning eyes behind the mask were unfathomable.
