His words were undoubtedly tempting to her. On top of that, he knew Alexander was sick. Lily had been doing such an excellent job at keeping that a secret.

After a moment of hesitation, she caved to his offer. Although she did not trust Mike, he was closer to the truth and knew more than she did.
