"Don't cry." The man gently held Olivia’s hand as he pulled it away from his lips. His voice was as warm and as calm as ever. "I'm back, aren't I?"

Olivia immediately opened her arms and hugged him from behind, sobbing.

'Yes! He's back! He's finally back!'

After months of worrying, he had finally returned to her side. She should be delighted, but her heart felt heavy. She was so distraught that all she could do was hug him and cry.

Edward turned around slowly and brushed his palm across her cheeks, touching her eyebrow and then lips. "Have you not met Alexander?"

"I don't know where he is." Olivia shook her head, bursting into tears again. "You said he has returned, but I haven't heard any news about it. The Russell family seems to know nothing.
