Of the Luminous Night stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Spoiled by Mr. Russell. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 1655. Let's read the author's Spoiled by Mr. Russell Luminous Night story right here.
Elijah and Michelle immediately followed suit. Soon, the room echoed with the sounds of heads knocking on the ground. Galen blinked at the sight before him. Although curious, he saw Dominic's anger and pursed his lips in silence.
"Get up, all of you! Get up now!" Dominic roared. His voice was so loud that everyone froze and looked up at him.
"Daniel Fike! You're something else, aren’t you?!" As he began to pace back and forth, he continued, "Even at this age, you're still pulling this trick on me? Do you think I will agree with you this way?!"
"No. I'm genuinely begging you! I'm running out of options! We've checked everywhere, and there’s still no sign of him. It's been so many days, and you know how Austin is. He won't make us worry like this.
“Something terrible must have happened! Also, that lab… That laboratory has been abandoned. I've had people investigate that place, but it was wiped clean. Not a single soul remains there. There's a basement in the building. Although the rooms were empty, it looked like someone had lived there.
“A professor from the laboratory died a while ago, so it's hard not to assume it has something to do with the lab. Dom, I've never asked anything from you for decades. I know you resent and hate me, but this is different! I will do whatever it takes to get Austin back, even if it means giving up my life!"
"Why would I want your life?! Can I make anything out of it?!" Dominic replied angrily. Then he shot Daniel a glare and said, "Get up! Get up, and we'll talk!"
"Dom…"
"I didn't say I wasn't going to look for him!" Dominic grumbled.
Although it was in a negative annotation, it was still a great relief. The whole family brightened up upon hearing this and helped each other up.
"Sometimes, you don't need to offend someone for something to happen. If you stand in the way of others, they will naturally deal with you. To them, it's like crushing an ant to its death," Dominic responded flatly.
He had calmly made such a reference that made the Fike family turn pale in fright. Michelle almost fainted. Elijah quickly supported her and asked cautiously, "Uncle Dom, what do you mean? Is Austin in danger?"
"Probably not!" Dominic shook his head. "I don't think he's dead. If he were, they would not need to hide the body. It's more convenient if they dispose of him."
That was something he had been thinking about over the past few days.
If Austin were already dead, his body would inevitably get disposed of. Since there were no traces of him or his dead body, it meant he was still alive but hidden.
