"Rhea is dead?" A strange female voice sounded. Elijah was stunned for a moment and looked toward the source of the voice.

A woman came in through the door leading to the backyard. She patted the dirt on her hands and washed them before coming over.

He watched her every move until she approached him and hesitantly looked at Dominic. "Uncle Dom?"

Dominic took a glance at Lily and rubbed his nose. "This is my apprentice."

"Hello, I'm Lily," Lily greeted Elijah politely.

Elijah felt that name sounded familiar, but he was more shocked that Dominic introduced her as his apprentice.
