“Great!” Lily heard the other person reply, but she still had not caught sight of him yet.

She could only see that Mike was facing a huge office chair. However, it did not seem like anyone was sitting on it from behind.

The sound of his laughter stopped abruptly. The man probably did not expect her to be so direct, and his expression changed suddenly.

His gaze became fierce in an instant as well. “What did you say?”

Mike again broke out in a cold sweat and tried to salvage the situation. “Sir, that’s not what she meant. She wanted to say that…”

“Your voice sounds even worse when you speak.” Lily paused, then looked at him with a raised brow before continuing, “Hasn’t anyone told you that before?”
