Lily held Galen carefully like he was the most precious thing in the world. She tightened her embrace and nudged her cheek against his to feel his warmth. Finally, she felt like she had indeed returned home.

Lily choked up as she muttered, “I miss you so much.”

She had been busy dealing with too many things, but all she thought about was her children.
