“You've recruited the perfumers, decided on the project plan, details of the manufacturing process, and even the targeted sales volume of the product. All of that is the result of your hard work, and no one can take the credit from you.”

How Nathaniel spoke politely made Damian feel comfortable and valued. Hence, his demeanor changed, and he was not as bossy and domineering as he was before. He received the cigarette, took a puff, and then squinted his eyes at Nathaniel.

“You're smart! I hope that’s how you truly feel! ”

Although Joseph adored Damian, he did not tell his son much about the family’s matters. Hence, Damian knew about the structure of the family and the relationship between its members, but he had only visited Derrick’s house a few times.
