Chloe knew that something was wrong and she did not dare to provoke him, so she just endured her fears and said, “How much do you want?”

The driver revealed a wretched smile. Then, he reached out his hand to touch her smooth face and said with a smile, “Money is not enough, I only want you to accompany me for a night.”

With that said, he started to pull on her clothes.

“I don’t know what you are talking about!” Chloe shouted.

The forest at night was really dark and she was barely able to tell her way. Luckily, the bright moonlight shined through the gaps of the leaves, so she could still see the things around her.

Chloe continued running until suddenly, she tripped and fell onto the ground.

“Ahhh!”

She let out a short painful cry but soon covered her mouth tightly.

Chloe’s eyes were wide open. She held her breath when she realized that the driver was just close by. His footsteps made a rustling noise as he stepped on the fallen leaves. He muttered as he walked. “This girl, how did she manage to get away in just a blink of an eye?”

Chloe hid within the bushes, she did not dare to breathe loudly. She only relaxed a little when she saw that he had left after failing to find her.

However, her phone rang at that moment.

Shocked, Chloe tried to cover her purse, but it was already too late. Her phone’s ringtone could be heard clearly in the forest and she then saw the man’s footsteps as he turned back.

Chloe panicked and quickly ran away.

“Damn it! Stop right there!”

The man’s roar came from behind her and it scared her so much that all she could do was run non-stop until she finally reached the roads again.

Suddenly, a dazzling white light lit up in front of her which pierced and hurt her eyes. Because of that, she tripped and fell.

The driver quickly ran after her as he saw that there was an opportunity. He grinned and said, “Let’s see where you run now!”

Chloe’s face became pale with fear.

Yet at that moment, a black hummer appeared and stopped behind the white light as if it was a majestic beast.

Chloe could not believe her eyes, John had brought a few people over and they were now coming out of the hummer.

John had a grim expression. He was dressed in a black suit that blended into the deep night as if he was a demon from hell. Yet to Chloe, he was an angel.

Chloe choked slightly and tears filled her eyes, making it hard for her to speak.
