Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Spoiled by the President. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 929 Having Other Intentions. Let's read the author's Spoiled by the President Internet story right here.
However, Gregory’s face did not show any signs of humor.
Mr. Osborne could finally notice he was actually being serious.
His heart sank heavily.
“So what happens now?”
Gregory said silently, “We’ll take one step at a time.”
He walked up the stairs once he finished.
Upstairs, Vickie was sitting at the balcony enjoying the breeze.
Actually, the weather was not as hot during this season. Vickie may be feeling hot because she was feeling irritated, worried, and confused all at once.
Once she sat here, Vickie could feel the breeze blowing her way, and that made her mood much better.
She did not notice that Gregory had come upstairs until she felt a heaviness on her shoulder. Vickie only came to her senses when she felt the warm touch.
When Vickie turned around, the tip of her brows lifted when she saw him.
“They’ve all left?”
“Mm.”
Gregory came in front and sat next to her. He wrapped his arms around Vickie’s shoulder and embraced her.
Vickie compliantly rested on his shoulders. She looked up to the sky full of stars, then said softly, “What did Shimon Flinders speak to you about today?”
Gregory’s body froze.
Vickie showed a thin smile.
“You don’t actually need to hide from me. I already know. I could tell Shimon Flinders definitely wouldn’t have come here for no apparent reason. He definitely had a purpose to appear today because we offended him completely for what had happened previously.”
As she spoke, she stood up and looked back at Gregory.
“Guess what I found while I was sorting out the wedding gifts today?”
Gregory’s eyes deepened but he did not answer.
Vickie took out a box from the side and opened it.
Only a few golden yellow pills, with the thickness of a little finger, could be found in the box.
She smiled and said, “I found this. It was gifted by Shimon Flinders. There was a note in the box, instructing me to take this pill once every ten days. He’s not even a doctor. How could he know what my diagnosis is or even know which medication I should be taking?”
Up till this point, Gregory already knew he could not hide any longer.
Vickie knew the truth earlier on.
He looked at her, and said deeply, “Do you really want to know?”
Vickie nodded.
“Okay, I’ll tell you.”
Gregory then told Vickie everything Shimon Flinders said to him.
Even if Vickie previously guessed something was hidden from her, the moment she heard the truth from him, she could not hide feeling shocked.
Gregory said with a deep voice, “According to him, you’re part of the Flinders and this hereditary disease most likely came from the family.”
“Just like you told me previously, your mother probably doesn’t have any relation to the Flinders, so the only possibility is from your father’s side. Do you remember anything about your father’s family?”
Vickie frowned. She thought for a long time and shook her head in the end.
“No, I don’t have any memory about him at all. Even so… I can’t even remember whether he actually appeared in my life.”
Gregory listened, but he was not surprised.
While growing up with Vickie all these years, and later on staying together in Lin City, she never once mentioned anything about her biological father too.
He touched her head and said, “It’s okay. Don’t think about it anymore if you can’t remember.”
