Maddie frowned and complained, "Angela, what's wrong with you? Steph has made it clear that she doesn’t want any connection with you or the Klein family. Are you deaf or something?"

Angela's friend frowned and chimed in, "Maddie, who do you think you are? Our families have been connected for generations. You're getting close to Steph because of her new status, right? She's going to be the future mistress of the Skyline Corporation CEO."

Before Maddie could respond, Stephanie coolly said, "Maddie is the future mistress of the Damon Group. Why would she need to suck up to me? On the other hand, Angela, it's always you who trying to curry favor with me. Is it because I'm the wife of the Skyline Corporation CEO?"
