"Nothing, let us just continue eating"

Shawn watched her as she savored her food, he was just wondering what she was thinking when the waiter arrived with his dessert and he stared at the chocolate cake. He didn't want to make anything difficult for her so he decided to let it be, that seemed like the right thing to do at that very moment so it did not feel rather awkward between them.

"You like chocolate cakes?" She asked. This was something new to her. Well, she hasn't really been married to him for a long time, but still did not expect him to order for chocolate cake.

"It is not that I like it, I just like the color"

"Oh, that's weird, little children eat a lot of chocolate cakes so that they can have brown teeth"

"Why would anyone want to have those?"

"I don't know perhaps, it was still a little child, I would have known the answer to that question"

He smiled and continued watching for a moment before his eyes fell on the chocolate cake and he began nibbling on it. It tasted just as he had predicted it, nevertheless, he was suddenly losing his appetite when his phone buzzed.

Hannah did not bother to glance up and look at him since it wasn't really her phone that had buzzed, there was no need to get nosy all of a sudden. Was that even considered being nosy? She wondered.

It was a message from G that read. "Why are you eating so slow?"

Shawn smiled and looked up only to see G standing at the stairs watching them. It seemed as if he was enjoying seeing the both of them together. When Hannah was about to look up, he quickly grabbed the glass of water and she blinked her eyes.

"Are you alright?" She asked wondering why he didn't just pick it up instead of grabbing it as though he was dragging the water with someone.

"I am fine, I am indeed worried about you, are you alright?"

"Yes.. yea…" She held her water. However, Shawn saw it all on her face that she wasn't really alright, and she might have been good at hiding but he paid attention to her emotion. He studied every line on her face, every crease just so he could get to see right through her since he was aware that she was not about to tell him what was wrong with her. He was worried about her so he needed to pay attention to her all the time.

"Why won't I be alright?" She mumbled under her breath, loud enough for him to hear her.

"Excuse me, I need to make use of the restroom, will you be alright by yourself?* He asked her and she nodded her head.

"I go work all by myself, why won't I be alright in here by myself"

"Good point" He never thought about that before asking her that question. She watched him walk away cornering into the bathroom, Hannah continued to savor her food.

She was going to pay almost everything that she earned into the accounts of this restaurant so she would rather empty her plates, that way she wouldn't feel so angry all the time.

As Shawn got into the restroom, he knew G was going to come after him so he let the door open while making sure they were going to be the only ones in there when G entered.

"How was the food?" G asked as he leaned against the door. He had to ask his friend since the dishes that were served were the most basic and could not be compared to Shawn's past. He had anything that he wanted and so he wanted to make sure that he was alright.

"Why? Do you think that I will fall or pass out after eating? I don't think so"

"I never thought of such but now that you think about it, can you?"
