Hannah knew that she did the right thing accepting that job, her mother's medical bills and medicine were on the line. she needed extra work so she could earn more money. It was just a translation work as she looked forward to it.

"Trust me, Hannah you are not going to regret it"

"Yea, whatever"

Hannah was not interested in whatever he had to say, she only cared about doing the job and making it right, if it wasn't for the money, and the responsibility that she had, she wouldn't have bothered at all. She just needed the money, it was not guaranteed that she was ever going to get this opportunity ever again.

"You are going to do great, you just have to give it your best"

Hannah doesn't even bother to respond. She was certain that she was going to do it but doesn't want him licking off her butt as if they were friends, they were not, he was just her boss and she wanted nothing more to do with him. As Hannah savored her food, she didn't bother to look at him again or even to notice if he was staring at her, that would make her uncomfortable, and just hated it.

When she was done eating, Hannah had to return home, there was going to be a lot of preparation on her part if she really wanted to nail her first job as a translator.

It was the first day of Hannah's job as a translator, she had prepared for this so many times and gone through all her notes to make certain that she was not going to miss anything that the client might need. Her first translation job was in a school, she was supposed to translate a lot of things for a school and she did so well. She had passed the expectation of Mike. He was thrilled and excited that he had chosen her to do things job. There was no one else who would do any of the things that she used to do.

"You did great today" Mike rushed up to her after what she had done. She would not have expected that he would stay and wait for her when had nothing to do here and should have returned back to work.

"Thank you, what are you doing here?"

"I came to congratulate you, I know that you will do better and to invite you to foist, let's celebrate your victory"

Hannah was not pleased with the invitation, the last time she had only accepted because he insisted that it was just for the company, but this time she had no reason to accept anything that he had to say. However, as she opened her mouth to say something, her mobile phone rang and she glanced at the screen, her heart jumped, and her fingers began to tremble. The Caller ID reads Hospital. She was scared that something might have happened, that was the only explanation as to why the hospital was going to call her.

Is it money? Was something wrong with her mother again? Has she gotten worse? Or has she recovered? The latter wouldn't be so possible since her mother was very ill. The last time that she had seen her, it didn't seem as though she was on the speed to recovery, it seemed as though she was slowly slipping away, Hannah did not want to accept that, she thought that money was the problem and if she could make so much money then she will be able to save her mother's life. That was another thing that made her take on this job and leave her hometown to come to Garden City.

"So what do you have to say, Hannah?"

She was pulled back into reality, she had forgotten that Mike was still there and they were at the entrance of the school. She needed to get far away from him and to go solve her problems back home.

"I don't think that is going to work out today" She turned around and picked up her Call, Walking away so that he would not get to ask her any other questions.

"Hello"

"You have to come to the hospital now"

That was all Hannah needed to hear to jump into the next bus heading for her town to go and see her mother. She didn't know how long she was going to stay there, but knew that as soon as she was done with the doctors and had seen her mother she had to leave and return back home to Shawn.

Hannah was a very capable Woman and so when she arrived at the hospital, she sorted things with the doctor and once again visited her mother. However, she couldn't just stay back in town, she had to return back to the city that same night.

It was something else and far yet she had to do it, that was the only way she was going to keep her job at the Company. She had gone without permission and did not want this to start explaining to Mike about her mother's condition.

As the company celebrates its wins over the last five years, Mile threw another party for his teammates at the company.

He had his PR work with the organizing committee to make sure that everything was being put into place. They had taken care of the food, drink, gifts and decorated the hall.
