Shawn knew that voice could only belong to her. She leaned against the door wondering what was happening to her. He was looking so handsome in those faded jeans and white shirt but that wasn't all that she had admired. It was about everything about him, the way that he did the dishes and tidied up the house was something that she admired so much. Not just because of the fact that she hasn't seen any man Cleaning so well and meticulously putting everything in order.

The other day that he had sorted out her laundry, he had done and she was amazed by him. She had not expected him not to mix up any of her clothes but Shawn had done so well, even better than she had done it. He carefully arranged her clothes back into the closet and put her underwear where she kept them. He had made sure that he sorted out the whites from the colored and now he was making dinner for her.

This came off as a surprise.

"I never expected you to be the kitchen man"

"I am not really the kitchen man"

"Well you do a good job at it, don't you get that?"

Shawn laughed. Of course, he did all that, but he will not reveal that to her so that he does not discredit her hardwork. Whether it was a simple dinner or just pancakes for breakfast, he could fix all that but he could not be as good as she was in making one of her delicious foods, and how she set the table was something else. She was good in everything that she did and he just couldn't be happier that she was his wife. They may not share so much in common but they were two people who understood each other perfectly.

When she first became his wife and started living with him, he had not thought that he will get to have this sort of conversation with her at all. At first, he assumed that she might be nice but boring since there was nothing different about her, he never thought that she had it in her until they started living together and acting like couples sometimes.

"Not as much as you do"

"Don't give me the credit, I am just doing the duty of a wife"

"Are all wives like this?"

She shrugged. She hadn't really been with other wives and didn't really know if they acted the same way that she did but one thing was clear, not all husbands are like Shawn. Her father made her realise that, she understood that she was an illegitimate child hit the way that he acted towards her sometimes was heartbreaking. Shawn was different even though he was just a rogue.

She could not fathom why he was so different from his father and from other rogues that she knew. Words on the street about that were that they were brutal and callous, while most of them beat up their wives and mates, others turned them into their sex slaves and something to pass out time with, they were never really serious. Are first, she was scared that was going to happen to her as well, but after staying with Shawn and spending time with him, she was certain that it was not going to be that way. He was different in so many ways and that made her admire him even more

"While you make dinner, I will just sit over here and get some work sorted out, I won't want to be the only one who doesn't get her things sorted out in the company tomorrow. You know that no one wants to get fired. You should resign than for you to be fired"

"No one is going to fire you but I don't think that you should be looking at those documents with an empty stomach, you should really eat before you start anything, I don't want you Falling sick, alright?" He was also good in being caring and well, this was not what anything like she had thought about her marriage.
