“Not yet” Shawn looked into her eyes and realised that she was coming around, it was only a matter of time before he finally proved that they were meant to be together and she would see that he had been her mate all along.

“ then when?” she was desperate to get to the bottom of everything and figure out why he had transformed into a werewolf before her. She was glad she had seen his wolf and knew what he looked like but then she wanted to know why it happened.

“ didn't realize it?”

“Realize what?”

“ you couldn't send my wolf, could you?”

Hannah opened her mouth, but on a second thought I closed it back, she had nothing to say as the words could not even fall out of her mouth. She had not noticed it earlier and did not take a second look at it, all she knew was that she had seen a beautiful wolf before her and had admired it before it went back to his master. however, now that he brought it up, she seemed to realize that all along She never perceived his scent, and that was unlikely for a werewolf, especially for an Alpha. His scent would have been so conspicuous that she would have quickly wondered what was lingering in her nose if he was her mate and if she was a werewolf, it wouldn't be as strong as a mate’s to recognize another mate's scent, but then she has not felt any of them, and her escape from her mind that she was supposed to have perceived his scent.

“ what? did you notice it?”

“Now that you mentioned it, I didn't notice it at all until now. why is that so?”

“Because I hid my sent away” Shawn stated, matter-of-factly, and how they shook her head. She had never realized that, I never thought that was possible. though she had heard that some werewolves hide their scent, it was only for a good reason, nevertheless, some still hide their scent from their mate because of their selfish reason, but Shawn wasn't like that. even though she did not know the actual reason why he had hidden he sent away, she could sense that it was only for a good cause and he did not mean to harm anyone especially not her. Shawn was not an evil person but an honorable man and an Alpha who would do anything to protect the people that he cared about, she may not have known him for long but from the little time she spent with him, she could tell that he cares about her in a way that no one else has.
