As Shawn and Hannah hit the road, Hannah stared out the window she could still shake off the feeling that perhaps this was all wrong and might end up not in her favor. however, she could no longer back out at all since she had promised Shawn that she was going to go back home with him and she was going to keep her promise until the very end no matter what happens.

“ Is something on your mind?” he glanced at her as he continued driving down the road. Shawn was not a fool, he had sensed that she was herself the moment he started putting the luggage into the Trunk of the car. She has not said a word to him and will only smile, she saw that he was happy going back home and did not want to ruin it by bringing up something that they had already discussed. Hannah was far from being happy, she was leaving Garden City a place she had had peace of mind for so long ever since she got married to Shawn, and was moving to somewhere else, somewhere she wasn't even sure she was ever going to have peace of mind nor going to be accepted. However, she has no choice. She does not want to be a killjoy and start nagging him about it over again, that will bring them back to where they started.

“ What could be?”

“ I don't know but I thought that perhaps you have something going on in your mind, that is why you keep staring out the window not looking at me”

“ There is nothing on my mind I'm just happy for you”

Shawn could not get her at all, but then he could not believe that she was entirely happy for him, he knew that she must be worried sick about the whole outcome of this journey and if his parents were going to accept her. He had a feeling that they would since they have always wanted him to find his mate and so they would not push her away or make him reject her because he was not going to. She has stayed with her for so long and for the long while he has stayed with her, he had come to realize that she was the best thing that's ever happened to him in his life in a long while.

“ I am with you, you don't have to worry about anything and I can assure you that everyone will like you for who you are”

“ You sound so sure, what if they don't want me and this all turns out wrong? what if no one likes me at all what are you going to do about it? “

“I already told myself that I will choose you over everyone and so whoever doesn't like it then that's their problem to bear but I like you and that is all that matters”
