The driver had opened the door. Ivan carried her into the car and Pippa followed.

Spencer watched the car away and then he walked towards his car.

"Don't take this the wrong way." Jennifer thought for a while but still decided to explain, "It's not like what you saw. I accidentally stepped on a stone and fell."

He hugged her and let her sit on his lap.

With one arm around her waist, his other hand picked up her injured foot and gently placed it on the seat, then he helped her take off her shoes.
