Conner asked, "When did the news break?"

"Last summer."

"The day Maja disappeared." Conner frowned. "Looks like there's a strong possibility then."

Mars scratched his head. "Maybe we should call 'the businessman' over."

'The businessman,' Andre, was in the living room, playing with his son, letting him climb up his chest with his tiny feet.

The family had been having a heated debate about when little Henry should ditch the diapers. Mia wanted him out of them right away, while Cooper accused her of being stingy and harsh, only to get a playful smack from Mia.

"Henry's so used to diapers, he can't even learn to squat for the bathroom. If he’s still in diapers when he starts preschool, that's gonna be a problem," Mia reasoned, eager to teach her son to ditch them early.

Cooper argued, "You want my nephew running around with a bare butt in the middle of winter, freezing blue, and you think I won't care? Let's wait until it's warmer to train him."

Andre, holding his son, kissed his soft little cheek, "Son, who do you listen to, your mom or your uncle? Whoever you call, we'll go with."

Henry's limited vocabulary offered, "Mommy!"

"Alright, Mia it is."

Just then, Andre's phone rang.

Seeing who it was, Andre picked up, still holding his baby, "Hey?"

Father and son shared a look, Henry wrapped his little arms around his dad's face and planted a kiss, "Bababa!dad!"

The call's content wiped the smile off Andre's face, "Yeah, got it."

Hanging up, Andre stood, handed his son to his brother-in-law, "Mia, let's head upstairs for a bit."

"Sure thing, babe. We're a team, right?"

At the door, Andre turned back, gave Henry a couple of kisses, handed him to Cooper, and hugged Mia, "I'm off."

"Hey sis, where's my brother-in-law off to all of a sudden?"

"No idea," Mia replied.

Cooper asked, "Then what were you two doing in the bedroom just now?"

"My husband kissed me."

Cooper realized he probably shouldn't have asked.

Andre made his way to the Nettleton family, ignoring his brother's look and Conner's resentful glare. "Where did this news come from?"

When Annie got home and remembered Conner's embarrassing moment, she chuckled absentmindedly on the sofa, while her parents exchanged looks, hesitating to say anything to their daydreaming daughter.
