When Anya found out that Henry had been losing weight and wasn't eating well, she didn't waste any time. She rolled up her sleeves and headed straight to the kitchen.

Before long, Anya emerged carrying a plate. She'd whipped up a veggie and egg frittata for Henry, prepared a fruit salad, made some formula milk, and even pulled up an episode of "Bernard Bear" on her phone. Leaning against the table, she set down a heap of snacks next to him. "Sweetheart, dinner's ready," she called.

Seeing this, Mia couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. "Henry, you're in for some good times now that your sister Anya is back," she remarked.

That evening, Bruce Cedillo wrapped up his workday and spent some quality time playing games with his little nephew, keeping him active and entertained.

At night, Henry sometimes snuggled up with his parents, basking in their love, while other times he bunked with his granddad, mixing up his nightly routine.

His appetite got better, and as a bonus, he was getting some exercise and exploring new interests.

Meanwhile, Mia's grad school exam results came in. By last year's standards, she'd just made the national cut. Denny scored sixty-eight points higher, while Jamie fell ten points short of Mia.

The study group chat was buzzing with exam talk—some folks were thrilled, others not so much. Mia chimed in proudly, "I beat last year's national cutoff!"

Cooper, however, wasn't about to let her get carried away. "Even if you passed, that score won't get you far. You can't even reach the bar for Havenbrook University," he pointed out.

Mia latched onto that detail, "...Wait, what did you and my brother-in-law sign me up for?"

"Havenbrook University," Cooper replied.

"Cooper, have you lost your mind?" Mia burst out. "Even a whiz like Denny would need another year to have a shot at getting in. You think I'm some kind of genius? Even the best can't guarantee they'd make it in a year. Are you looking for trouble?"

Cooper shrugged, "I told you a second try might be in the cards, but you didn't listen. Go talk to my brother-in-law; it was his idea since Havenbrook University is nearby, and he offered to drive you every day."

Coincidentally, a flashy guy was leaving Leo's room just as Bruce arrived, with Leo's roommate trailing behind.

"Dad, what are you doing here?" Leo asked, taken aback.

"Whoa, Leo, is this your dad? No wonder you're such a looker—good genes," the guy commented, trying to chat with Bruce. But Leo quickly had Tony escort him out, "Tony, can you show him the door? I need a word with my dad."

Bruce watched the man leave and then turned to Leo, "Who was that, all decked out like that? Your uncle's never been a fan of flashy types."

Leo tossed a disposable cup into the trash. "He's an agent from my roommate's company, trying to recruit Tony and me to form a band. I turned him down."

Bruce nodded approvingly, "As long as you've got your head on straight, son, I'm happy."
