Henry’s eyes sparkled, clear as crystal, darting from scene to scene. Nobody had ever taught him, but this tiny kid suddenly shouted, “I love Daddy and Mommy!”

Mia burst out laughing, and Andre did too.

“I love my husband and my son,” Mia declared with a grin.

“I love my Chad… and our son,” Molly added.

The first part sent a wave of happiness through Chad, and he decided to ignore the last bit. He pulled Molly into his arms and kissed her right there.

That just left Anya, standing at the top of the hill, staring at her boyfriend as he shot her a look. Her aunts had all said their piece—she was the only one left. “I, I, I…” she stammered.

Leo couldn’t resist teasing her. “What’s with the stuttering? Spit it out already.”

Anya leaned over and whispered, “Can I just say, ‘I love the babies’?”

Leo grinned, “You tell me!”

With no way out, Anya shouted, “I love Chad!” at the top of her lungs.

Leo finally looked satisfied. Even though Ms. Anya had been dragged into it, the Cedillo family never cared about how things happened, just that they happened.

“Alright, your turn!” the three women said, turning their eyes on the men.

Mia nudged, “Hurry up! Didn’t you see our little guy show you how it’s done?”

Hansen hurried inside with him.

They split the wild strawberries among the families.

Meanwhile, Wayne was at home crying too. He hadn’t seen his mom all day, wouldn’t drink his formula, wouldn’t eat his eggs—the little guy who was usually an angel had turned into a total crybaby.

It wasn’t until Molly walked in, calling, “Mom, Dad, I’m home! Is my sweetie asleep?” that he really let her know how he felt.

Molly dropped everything and rushed over to scoop her son off the couch. “Oh, my poor baby boy. Mommy’s here! Have you been crying?”

With her son in her arms, Molly—still sweaty from the walk—headed straight for the bathroom. Chad was in the shower while she fed Wayne. Before long, Chad came out, Wayne’s belly was full, and the little guy curled up in his dad’s arms, twisting around to keep an eye on his mom.
