Mia already knew her score. Over the moon, she jumped up and threw her arms around her husband. “Honey, I don’t have to go overseas; I don’t have to leave you!”

The Irvin family was just as proud. “If Mia really puts her mind to it, she’s smart as a whip,” Mrs. Irvin said.

Andre nodded. “Yeah, just like Henry—acts clueless, but sharp as anything.”
