So, late at night, when everyone else was already asleep, Andre was helping his wife review her study material.

She didn't feel like studying, so Andre said, "Leo has a good foundation, and Molly has someone teaching her. If you don't work hard, you won't have anyone to accompany you during makeup exams."

This statement frightened Mia, and she quickly sat beside her husband, holding onto his arm and nuzzling her chin on his shoulder, playfully saying. "Darling, teach me."

Andre nodded and opened the book, looking at the key points to condense them for his wife.

As Mia continued to study, she eventually leaned against Andre's shoulder and fell asleep. She had stayed up late the previous night deciding on a hairstyle, and this morning she wanted to leave early because it took a long time for girls to do their hair. So she woke up early again.

Andre's voice was like a lullaby, and as she listened, she drifted off to sleep.

It wasn't until the soft snoring sound came from the girl leaning on his shoulder that Andre turned his head.

Even though he couldn't see her face, he could sense her petite and tender presence at that moment.

Andre closed the book. With gentle movements, he embraced the sleeping Mia and turned around to carry her to bed.

He took off her slippers and held her small feet in his hands, which were still cold. He lifted the blanket and tucked her in.

After a while, he also got into bed. Under the covers, he proactively placed his legs where her feet were.

The next day, Mia slept until she naturally woke up.

The first thing she did upon waking up was to rush to the mirror and check if her hairstyle had been ruined by sleep.

"Fortunately, it's still fine," she sighed in relief.

Andre had already gone to the office, leaving her alone at home.

Chad took Molly away again, Leo being perceptive, grabbed a book and pretended to leave for some serious studying, but in reality, he drove off for a leisurely time.

Feeling bored at home, Mia grabbed her book and decided to go to Cedillo Inc. to find her husband.

After several days of absence, her sudden appearance almost made Alice not recognize her. "Mrs. Cedillo, this hairstyle is so elegant; I was momentarily stunned when I first saw you."

Mia smiled and asked, "Is my husband in his office?"

"He is. I think he's been waiting for you," Alice replied.

Mia quickly ran into the office. "Darling?"

Andre smiled as soon as he saw her, without needing any words. "You slept until now?" he asked.

Mia closed the door behind her. "Why didn't you wake me up when you left for work this morning?"

"I didn't want to disturb your sleep," He replied.

Seeing the book in her hand, Andre chuckled. "Sit on the couch first. I'll finish what I'm doing here, and then I'll come and teach you."

Mia nodded obediently; she was very well-behaved.

After a while, Andre indeed went to the couch to join her. "Molly and Leo aren't at home?"

Mia said, "Chad picked up Molly, and Leo didn't feel respected at home, so he went out to study. That's why I came to find you."

Andre flipped through the pages of the book. "What was the last topic you remember from last night?"

"I didn't have any topic in my mind last night," Mia replied.

Andre was speechless. He decided to teach his wife again, but this time he changed his approach and used a question-and-answer format.

If Mia merely listened to his words, she would forget everything, but if she answered his questions, she would remember more deeply.

"What are the functions of the central bank?" he asked.

Mia recalled the knowledge she learned in class and gave a general response; although not in the correct order, it was the knowledge she remembered.

After Mia finished speaking, Andre added some additional information based on her response. "What makes the central bank's position special?"

Mia pondered for a moment, her brow furrowing and her mouth drooping as she complained, "Baby, is it because I never learned this, or because I didn't pay attention in class?"

However, Mia, like a startled kitten, lost her patience from before. "Darling, what is the Western Development project about? Why have I heard about it months ago, and it's still ongoing?"

"It's a project that benefits you," Andre replied.

Mia asked eagerly, "Can you tell me more in detail? I'm curious."

"Are you curious about everything?" Andre teased.

"Of course." Mia admitted without reservation.

Andre proposed a motivation measure, "If you do well today, I'll take you to the site this afternoon."

"Okay!" Mia crawled up and kissed her husband on the cheek. "How about this?"

Andre raised the book in his hand for her to see. "I meant studying, not our relationship."

Mia stuck out her tongue. "Oh, sorry, I misunderstood."

Andre looked at her small face and chuckled helplessly.

Everyone was making an effort. Chad had borrowed a book on criminal investigations from the city library and started reading it. Molly was diligently writing, jotting down the key points from the book on her notebook.

It was Chad's requirement. He had been tutoring her since she was young, helping her with her homework from elementary school until college.

He accompanied her in her studies and saw her off to Havenbrook University. He knew her better than she knew herself.

Mere rote memorization wouldn't work for her; it would only confuse some concepts.

Only through writing could she truly remember.

If she can't remember it the first time, then she'll write it down twice, three times at the most, and she'll have it memorized.

It was a sunny winter afternoon, and the sunlight streamed through the window, casting a warm glow onto the yellowed desk.

While Chad was reading, he would occasionally glance at her. Bathed in the warm sunlight, she was fully focused on her studies.
