Of the Sydney Roberts stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 393. Let's read the author's Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance Sydney Roberts story right here.
As Mia was about to leave the house, she couldn’t help but feel slightly embarrassed when she glanced at her handsome husband, Andre.
“Darling, I didn’t expect the dog in the dream to be so ugly, but in reality, my husband is so handsome, right? Can you pretend you didn’t hear what I just said?”
Andre chuckled. “Well, I heard you loud and clear.”
Mia felt her cheeks heat up. The faint blush creeping up to her collarbone was a reminder of their previous intimate moment.
Luckily, Molly came to the rescue. “Mia, Andre, let’s go downstairs for dinner.”
Mia quickly covered her blushing collarbone with a scarf before obediently walking over to Andre. She interlaced her fingers with his, squeezing his hand gently. She didn’t have to say anything. Her actions were enough to tell Andre that she was acting a sweet loving wife.
Her every move stirred Andre’s heart. In his eyes, she could do no wrong. If they had lived in ancient times, she would have been the most pampered queen.
Bruce and Molly, despite their significant age gap, shared a bond that was a blend of sibling love and a form of silent affection that only elders could give.
Bruce wasn’t one for small talk, but whenever he heard about something happening to Molly, he would immediately show his concern. “Molly, is Jack from Ashford Inc. pursuing you?”
Molly immediately turned to Mia. Her eyes were shooting daggers. Mia blinked innocently. “I didn’t even tell Andre. How could I tell anyone else?”
Andre raised his eyebrows. “Who?”
Hansen shot a stern look. “Who is that boy?”
Bruce added, “I’ve looked into it. The Ashfords are a mess. They’re not good enough for you. Better break up with him early.”
At the Cedillo family dinner table, everyone’s attention was on Molly, except for Mia who was busy enjoying her food.
Molly felt a rush of adrenaline at having her love life be the center of attention. “I’ve actually rejected him already.”
News travelled fast in their circles. It didn’t take long for words to spread that Jack from the Ashford family was pursuing the Kendrick’s daughter. Bruce, hearing about this, immediately put aside his own matters to investigate the Ashfords. “Why did I hear that he’s still pursuing you, even expressing his feelings publicly at dinner?”
Molly was livid. “Next time someone brings this up, you help me shut them down.”
Mia, having finished her meal, shifted her attention to the ongoing conversation. “What did you say to him?”
“I told him to check himself in the mirror. And called him shameless.”
Mia nodded approvingly. “That’s not enough. You should be harsher. In your vocabulary, that’s not cursing. That’s stating facts.”
Molly pondered for a moment before nodding in agreement. “You’re right. I didn’t curse him.”
Hansen, hearing about his daughter being pursued by an unworthy man, was displeased. “I’ll go see who this bastard is. His taste is really good.”
Molly quickly stopped her father. “Dad, if you go, he’ll know I’m Molly. Leo said these types of men are cunning. If he knows Andre and Bruce are my brother, he’ll cling to me even more. I’ve finally gotten some peace. Please don’t go.”
Bruce already had a plan to help his sister get rid of her unwanted suitor.
At the same time, Cooper couldn’t bear to listen any longer. “Andre, you’re a business tycoon. How can you be so controlled by love, especially the love for Mia?”
Mia flared up instantly. “Don’t ever come back home!”
Cooper hung up, unfazed by her threat.
His friends overheard the conversation and were surprised. “Cooper, you know Andre?”
Cooper looked at the friend who had first figured out the connection. “Yes, he’s my brother-in-law.”
Who would know that he, through his fiery sister, ended up being related to his idol, Andre. The revelation set off a flurry of excitement among the friends who were privy to the truth.
At home, Mia was fuming. She shot off a text to her dad, pleading with him to abandon Cooper. But her plea fell on deaf ears in the group chat.
“Honey!” She turned to her husband for comfort.
Molly sneered, “I can’t stand women like you who run to their husbands at the first sign of trouble.”
Mia retorted, “You don’t do the same with your Chad?”
The two had a knack for verbal sparring. One was with a venomous tongue, and the other was slightly less so, but was also difficult. As they squabbled, they didn’t miss a beat in their war of words, without resorting to foul language.
“Mia,” Molly finally said, “I met someone at the hospital the other day who gave me a weird vibe. I remember Leo once told us to stay away from people who give off a bad first impression. But I can’t avoid this guy. I suspect he’s the one who hit my brother, and... I think I might know him when I was a kid!”
