Andre cut to the chase, "You know why you're in Havenbrook—whether it's to see my son or something else. My focus is on Mia and our kid right now; I don't have time to dig into your business. If you can wait for my son, stay in Havenbrook. If not, buy a ticket and head back. Don't come here looking for a laugh."

Conner shot back, "Just because you have an adorable son, Andre, doesn't mean you're special. Wait until I have a son, and you'll see how I treat you the same way when you visit."

Andre chuckled, "By the time you have a son, I might already be welcoming my second."

Feeling slighted, Conner muttered, "Just you wait!"

After hanging up, Andre handed his phone to his son, letting little Henry grab and chew on it. This was typical behavior for Henry—digging into dad's chair, climbing on dad's shoes, munching on dad's phone, and gnawing on dad's face.

Mia got out of bed to change clothes, readying for an afternoon outing, "Who was that on the phone, babe?"

"Conner's in Havenbrook to see the kids. We told him to wait since we're not around."

Mia glanced at their son, who was obsessed with chewing on the phone, "What's the big deal with him anyway? Why does everyone seem to adore him?"

After ending the call, Conner looked at the police station nearby, cursing Andre under his breath, "No wonder little Mars Arrowood never hangs out with you in Havenbrook. That's how you treat friends? I'm going to prove myself this time. Let's see if your second kid or my first arrives first."

Conner tried calling Annie, who was tied up in a meeting, so she declined the call.

Easton was knee-deep in a case analysis with Chad there to observe. "Officer, using the forensic data, start checking the missing persons in the local precinct. Casey, you come with me to the crime scene... Officer Chad, any insights?"

Chad, who had pulled an all-nighter, looked exhausted with red-rimmed eyes, "The counterfeit case is serious, likely involving small bills circulating off the books, tricky to trace. After briefing the chief last night, the instruction is to keep the details about the body found near the factory under wraps due to unknown cause and identity, suspected ties to the counterfeit case, so no media leaks. I've assigned Junior Officer and Bob to handle last night's onlookers."

Chad's intent was clear to Easton. "Lincoln, handle the media outside, no victim info leaks. Everyone else, keep working your cases."

After wrapping up instructions, Easton gave Annie a nod of approval.

Her phone buzzed again amidst the applause from her peers, but she ignored it, focusing on her files.

Easton suggested, "Casey, if you need to, take that call. Your phone's been buzzing for a bit."

"Just sales calls, nothing urgent." She returned to her desk.

Outside, after failing to reach Annie thrice, Conner stood at the police station entrance. He hesitated, recalling his previous false arrest as a human trafficker. Would entering lead to police recognition and exposing his history to Annie, opening him up to future teasing?

If it weren't for his godson's antics, he wouldn't be stuck at the entrance, torn about going in.

At that moment, Molly's taxi pulled up to the police station. She stepped out, determined to have a word with Chad. If he explained himself, she might reconsider. If not, Molly was resolute, "Divorce isn't a big deal."

"No harm in divorce. I'll just flaunt myself in front of Chad, date younger guys, and wear pajamas all day to annoy him..." Molly mused as she walked.

A man in sunglasses noticed Molly heading purposefully towards the station. He approached her, "Excuse me, could you help me with something... Wait, you look familiar." Conner took off his sunglasses, trying to place her.

Molly, wary of the stranger, asked, "What do you want?"

Molly followed him, leaving the scene.

The security guard at the entrance thought Molly might be getting duped.

Soon after, as Chad left the station, Easton, always looking for efficiency, suggested, "Officer Chad, since we're heading to the same place, let's save some emissions and take one car."

Without waiting for Chad's approval, Easton called Annie to join them in Chad's car.

Inside, they noticed a pink bag in the backseat filled with bottles and jars. "Officer Chad, what's this?"

Chad explained, "Molly's makeup bag. She overslept, did her makeup in the car, and left it here."

Easton glanced at the women's items and sighed, "Women are such a hassle. Does Summer have this many products?"

Annie replied seriously, "I'm past the age of fussing over looks."

As they were about to leave, the security guard rushed over, "Detective Chad, Molly came by and left with some conman."

Chad asked his colleague to stop the car, leaning to look at the guard, "Who did Molly leave with?"

"I'm not sure, just a guy, well-dressed, wearing sunglasses. They chatted briefly at the door, and then Molly left with him. She's young; you should check so she doesn't get tricked or lost."
