Gary sensed the underlying meaning behind Lewis' words. "Are you saying that all of this wasn't just a coincidence?"

Lewis didn't confirm nor deny it. He said vaguely, "Maybe there is another person helping us behind the scenes."

Gary glanced at Larissa, who looked puzzled. He kept his thoughts to himself.

"Alright, you both should go and rest now. Come home tomorrow night. The three of us will have a nice meal to celebrate." Gary stood up and waved them off.

Larissa was not in a rush to go home.

She had brought souvenirs from Bartham. She distributed them to her colleagues in the presidential office.
