As expected, Charles's face darkened. He lashed out at him, "Edward, what do you want to say? Are you telling me that you and Nancy had been intimate?"

Charles asked, his eyes ablaze, his jaw fixed in a pugnacious tilt.

Edward kept drinking with a smile.

The more Edward ignored his questions, the angrier and more suspicious Charles became. His jaw tightened in a bone grinding clench.

"Charles, do you love Nancy or not?" he asked, grabbing Charles's wrist.

"Of course I love her. You know it very well, but you still dare to ask me. Edward, I will kill you!" Charles growled in frustration.

Edward laughed even more arrogantly. "Charles, your love is so selfish. Even if something happened between me and Nancy, it was in the past. Why should it matter now? Well, you know what? You do not deserve her. Give her back to me. I'll take her away from here. I promise you that I will keep her happier than you!"

"In your dreams, Edward!" Charles shouted furiously,

"They don't want me to marry Nancy?" Charles asked, fresh anger flooding his brain at the prospect. He could not believe someone could stoop to such a low level. He would not rest until he got to the bottom of this!

Edward nodded and smiled, "Charles, you finally got it! To tell you the truth, I have always dreamed of being with Nancy. I love her more than you, absolutely not less than you! She is my illusion, but it's just my illusion. Let me make one thing clear! If you continue to make trouble out of nothing, I will turn my illusion into reality. Do you understand me?"

"Well, you don't have a chance, Edward!" Charles whispered between clenched teeth and shrugged. "So, if my marriage with Nancy is ruined, you are the beneficiary. Then these photos...It's you..."

Charles continued, his fists opening and closing at his sides. He knew that no one would do it for no reason.
