In the Sacred Palace, Chandler hurried to where the lord was.

He found him sitting cross-legged and cultivating.

Hearing Chandler come in, Lord Donald stood up.

"Why are you in such a hurry, sir?"

Lord Donald appeared to be calm. He seemed to be more relaxed when Darren had returned.

"I bring bad news," Chandler reported. His face was grim.

Lord Donald faced him. "Is there anything happening in the forbidden area?"

He had felt the ground shake but it ended as quickly as it started.

However, seeing Chandler's face made him worry.

"Yes..."

"Tell me what's happening." Lord Donald motioned for Chandler to sit down.

"A while back, when I heard the news about the unusual movement in the forbidden area, I went to investigate. I found Barnes trying to draw out the halberd of Hiram the Great, which is being used to suppress the fiend's arm!"

"What?!"

Lord Donald's face changed dramatically. This was a serious situation. Once Hiram the Great's halberd was pulled out, the fiend's arm· would surely escape.

It was not a big deal that only one arm of the fiend escaped. What they were most worried about was that the fiend's arm attacking other forbidden areas. If the fiend became whole again, they would all be in peril.

"I'll go and tell Darren," Lord Donald said, walking out of the room.

The fiend weakened part of the force that suppressed Barnes, which allowed Barnes to gain more of his strength and become as powerful as a six-tribulation senior holy warrior. Darren would surely die if he faced both Barnes and the fiend.

"What do you suggest then?"

Lord Donald asked. He was very anxious. Barnes wanted to release the fiend, and it was impossible for them to just sit back.

It would take a lot of time and work to realize this task, since the lord token and an ancient altar were both required.

"I've been trying for a month. I'm certain they will come soon." The lord's eyes were misty.

"Then they're just in time. With our strength now, we definitely can't stop Barnes. It will only be a matter of time until he is able to set the fiend's arm free. You must continue summoning the four greatest holy warriors," Chandler said.

"I'll see to it." Lord Donald nodded sagely and flew back to the ancient altar.

Just then, a figure flew into the ·room.

"Darren, what brings you here?" Chandler asked.

"I felt the quake. Is there something wrong in the forbidden area of the halberd?" Darren was straight to the point.

"Yes, there was an emergency. But, it's not a big deal. I've gone to investigate. Don't worry, just prepare yourself for the trip to the eighteen cities," Chandler replied.

Chandler was lying, but he couldn't risk Darren not going to the eighteen cities. If he knew something was wrong, he would've gone straight to the forbidden area.

However, there was nothing much Darren could do.

If the fiend's arm were set free, it would go on a rampage and terrorize all those who were nearby. If Darren were in the eighteen cities, he would be safe for a while. After all, there were a lot of masters in those cities.

"Oh, alright." Darren nodded. He believed in Chandler.

He left to go to Chaz.
