“That is a nice speech,” Brody’s sudden arrival made us turn and face him. He was staring at Rollo as if he had more to say but was holding back because I was there too. 

“Rollo just admitted he was wrong. The things he said touched my heart,” I dramatically placed a hand on my chest and then winked at Rollo, who rolled his eyes at me for getting him into trouble.

I had never seen such a spark in his eyes before. The way he looked at me and then left made me wonder what was going on in his heart.
