Chapter 274
-Grayson’s POV-
I hit the ground hard.
The impact rattled through my bones, my ribs screaming in agony as I tumbled onto the dirt. The world blurred, but I didn’t stay down. I couldn’t stay down.

A savage growl ripped through the night as Dylan lunged again, his massive wolf form a blur of dark fur and gleaming fangs. His breath was hot, thick with the scent of blood–Ava’s blood–and that alone sent a wildfire of rage tearing through me.
I didn’t think. Didn’t hesitate.
I met him head–on.
Our bodies slammed together with a force that shook the very ground beneath us. I felt the crunch of ribs–not mine. His. But he didn’t falter. His claws arced through the air, slicing toward my throat.
I ducked. Spun.
His fangs snapped inches from my face. I caught the glint of his eyes–burning, ruthless.
A snarl ripped through my throat as I struck, my claws raking across his side, splitting flesh, spilling blood. Dylan roared, his massive frame twisting as he retaliated, teeth sinking into my shoulder. Pain flared, white–hot and searing, but I used it.
I slammed my weight into him, forcing him back. The ground beneath us tore apart as we clashed, claw against claw, fang against fang.
He was strong. But I was stronger.
Lightning split the sky above us, a blinding flash illuminating the battlefield. The storm had arrived in full force. Wind roared through the trees, rain hammering down, turning the dirt beneath us into slick mud.
But I didn’t care about the storm. I cared about the bastard in front of me.
Dylan lunged, his claws slashing through my side. I barely flinched. Pain meant nothing. I lashed out, my paw crashing against his muzzle with a sickening crack. Blood spattered onto the ground as he staggered back, shaking his head, his breaths coming in heavy, ragged bursts.
But he wasn’t finished.
With a snarl, he leapt, his full weight crashing into me. We tumbled, rolling through the dirt, snapping jaws and slashing claws locked in a deadly blur.
And then–he pinned me.
Dylan’s massive paws pressed against my shoulders, forcing me down. His fangs bared, saliva dripping onto my fur as he loomed over me, claws digging into my chest.
“This was always your fate.” His voice slithered through my mind, thick with triumph. “You were never going to win.”
Lightning flashed, illuminating his face twisted in a snarl.
And then–I let go.
For half a second, he wasn’t expecting it. His weight lurched forward, unbalanced. And in that half–second, I struck.

Chapter 274
I twisted my body, flipping us over. Now he was the one pinned againer the ground Refore he could wet 1 Appetitio
One.
A savage bite to his shoulder, my fangs sinking deep.
Two.
A powerful swipe across his ribs, clawing through flesh and muscle.
Three.
I seized his throat between my jaws, biting down, crushing,
Dylan howled, his body spasming beneath me. Good. Let him feel it. Let him know what it we like to lose
The storm howled above us, trees bending under the force of the wind, rain pouring down in the Tanter codes overhead, the night itself trembling
But there was only this fight. Only him. Only me.
Dylan snarled, shoving upward with every ounce of strength he had left. We rolled Crashed. We slammed into the wife of the ship and it bent beneath the impact. My back burned, but I didn’t stop. I drove my paw into his gut, sending him staggering.
For a split second, he hesitated. And that hesitation cost him.
I lunged. Hard. My fangs tore into his side, my claws digging deep, locking him in place. No escape. He gasped blood gurgling from his throat. His eyes–wild, desperate–locked onto mine.
“You took her,” I snarled, my voice no longer human. No longer sane.
Dylan’s body trembled beneath me. For the first time, fear flickered in his gaze.
“No one touches what is mine.”
I sank my teeth deeper.
His body spasmed. His paws weakly clawed at my grip. But it was over.
The wind shrieked through the forest. The rain pounded against us. The earth itself seemed to hold its breath.
And I was ready to end him.
But then a scream tore through the chaos.
Ava.
My head snapped toward her just in time to see her stumble. Blood poured from her leg, staining the deck beneath her. Too much blood.
Rickon was already there, shielding her with his body, his gun raised as he tried to pull her up. His face was tight with focus, but the madness around us was spiraling out of control.
The ship was no longer just a battleground–it was war.
Dylan’s men had shifted, their monstrous forms crashing into my men, claws meeting bullets in a violent storm of b and fury. Snarls and gunfire filled the air, mixing with the howling wind as the storm raged around us.

Chapter 274
Lightning flashed.
Thunder cracked.
The sea roared, slamming waves against the ship’s hull.
And then–Ava screamed again.
My attention wavered just for a second. Just long enough for Dylan to move.
Too late.
Claws sank deep into my side.
Twisting.
The pain was blinding, sharp and raw as fire. Dylan ripped into me, his snarl thick with victory as he tore through muscle and flesh. I felt the warm rush of blood spilling down my fur.
But I didn’t let go.
A guttural snarl tore from my throat, rage swallowing the pain whole. I grabbed Dylan and threw him.
His body slammed into the metal railing with a sickening crack.
