''What a day'' I exclaimed as I entered the house. I went to the kitchen to get a snack or something since I was starving

But...I lost my appetite as soon as I saw Lucy and her two friends talking. They stopped their conversation as soon as they saw me.

''I'm just gonna leave'' I sighed

I left the kitchen. Suddenly I stopped; I don't know why I did. I can't keep running away from my problems. I have to stand up for myself. Damien has accepted me as his mate. I have nothing to be afraid of anymore.

I went back to the kitchen

''On a second thought, I think I'll stay''

One of the girls scoffed but I paid her no mind. I went to the fridge and grabbed an apple then I sat on one of the stools to eat it

The room was silent. The only noise that was made was me munching my fruit. I decided to speak up

''So Lucy..'' I started

She smiled a fake smile

''Just a few weeks ago you'd be trembling at the sight of us. Look at you now behaving so casual like you own the place all because you're good with Alpha Damien. Let me warn you sweetie it's only temporary. He's gonna leave soon''

I grew angry at the thought

I couldn't stop the tears that fell. I ran out of the kitchen from their sounds of laughter.

Its true, I can never be compared to them or any other girl for that matter. Girls my age had boobs and stuff. I'm seventeen yet I don't wear bras. These are the kind of things that attract guys.
