The Alphas' Mate novel Chapter 41

Chloe,

I walk inside our room and my body feels so heavy and again my head hurts.

I took a quick shower and changed my dirty clothes. I walk inside our walk in closet and grab a clean comfy clothes.

After I out my clothes on I hear someone knocks at the door.

''Luna Chloe, it's Cassie.''

So she really is Cassie, I see.

''Oh, come on in." I shouted and saw her came in while grinning.

As I was walking towards our bed to get my phone, my head feels heavy and my vision starts to blur, I then saw Cassie running towards me.

''Luna Chloe, oh my God, oh my God'' that would be the last thing I heard and I was out of consciousness.

Zachary,

We all are patiently waiting for Chloe and Cassie to come down and we'll eat but no one is coming. So I decided to bring this up inside our room.

"You guys can eat now, I'll just bring this up to our room. Janice, please place this in a tray" I say and they all nod and start eating.

I saw that everyone is happy and we do love the pork, chicken adobo. Janice placed them all in a tray.

''I'll carry it up,''

''Janice, sit down and eat your lunch. I can handle this."

"Of course Alpha." I left the dinning area .

I was walking upstairs and just one more floor I'll be able to reach our room. Then I hear Cassie shouting Chloe's name.

I dropped the tray and run towards our room and I saw Cassie trying to wake my mate.

''Luna Chloe please wake up, Luna Chloe!''

''Cassie, go and link doctor Rain tell him to come now!'' I am so scared right now not knowing what I will do.

I carried her and gently place her at our bed. Her body feels like burning.

"Harry! James!" I hear my sister calls my beta and gamma.

''Love, please wake up'' I cry and gently caress her cheeks.

(After 10 minutes)

"Alpha Zachary?" Doctor Rain knocks.

''Oh, please come in.'' he opened the door and walks inside and start to check on my mate and I can't stop myself from growling because of the touch he's giving her but I know deep inside that I need to trust him.

"Thank the goddess she's not in heat but her body is tired. Did she eat? Some of her wounds opened up, why is that?" Rain ask.

"I am not sure if she finishes her breakfast and at the same time she helped the pack clean outside." I say and he fixes his tools.

"She's okay now Alpha Zachary, she's just tired and at the same time she did not have a full meal to at least help her body and that also made her weak. If she wakes up, you guys can eat."

''Thank you Rain''

"Call me if something happens again." I nod and he goes out..

I take my sit beside her, holds her hand close to mine. I'm so angry to myself now just by watching her like this and I know that it was because of me, how can I be so careless about this.

(After 2 hours)

''Love, you alright ?'' I ask when I saw her open her eyes.

''What happened?'' she ask

''Alpha Zachary, Luna Chloe?'' Cassie then peeks through the door.

''Am I disturbing you guys?"

"Ah no, not now. Come in" Chloe mumbles making us laugh.

"How are you Luna?"

"I'm good now Cassie, thank you for catching me." she then look at me.

"Thank you for always being there." Cassie then started to tease us.

Dammit!

Am I blushing!

"Yiiiee! You really are good at coaxing" Cassie mumbles.

I was about to leave when my mate grab a hold of my hand and intertwined it with hers.

"Cassie can---"

"I got it, see you later!" she tickled my side before running out our room.

''Cassie!'' and she waved Goodbye

"Sit down, Zachary" I didn't make any move, I just stood in front of her.

"Please," I wanted to tease her more but she's not yet that good.

I take my sit and didn't say a word, she then remove her hands and sat on my lap. Oh my God Chloe, please don't start like this.

My cheeks start to burn and I didn't expect her to sit on my lap like this. She wrap my hands around her and cup both my cheeks.

She's so sexy right now!
