Rosalyn's POV

Sitting in my room my eyes are watching alessandro and his friends pack but my mind is full with recollections of what took place today.

Firstly i still can't believe it my baby boy is back. After all this time i thought I'd never see him again. I honestly thought I was hallucinating when i heard his voice begging me to wake up it sounded far away at first but then it became louder and i opened my eyes thinking it was a dream. When i felt a hand on me i thought it was jermain but then his scent flooded my nose and i looked up and saw him. The first thing that came to my mind was that i hadn't woken up and was still dreaming or it was the lack of nutrients making me hallucinate. But when i heard his voice telling me he was real a part of me was hesitant but i was still hoping what i saw was real and when he held on to my hands and i felt him, the countless emotions that took over had me bursting into tears. It was the most joyous moment of my life next to when i gave birth.

However, i noticed something was extremely different about him and when althea confirmed my suspicions i had my answer. The evidence was all their in his eyes, his aura and mostly in his scent. I could smell the disappointment coming off him in waves he was disappointed in himself for doing something so reckless. I could also sense the change in his wolf, it was no longer the wolf he had before, it change, evolved into something else, something dark but powerful.

I knew what this meant it was already foretold. I read those reports that they had on alessandro when he was with the council so i know what is happening to him and i know that they'll come for him now that he has awakened. This final transformation whatever it is will determine his fate, i have no idea what the council is up to but i do know that more than anything they want him to transform and regardless of their kill order they are scientists at heart with a yearning to see their experiment through but I'd kill every living being on this earth before i let anyone take my baby. Now that Al is back i am determined to get my strength back because he cannot fight these battles that are sure to come his way alone.

The next thing that had my mind reeling was jermaine. I'd finally taken everyone's advice and made up with him. Our conversation still fresh in my mind

Flashback

Alessandro, his friends, dad and i were all in the room catching up when someone knocks on the door before opening it and walking in. I looked up to see Micheal walked into the room followed by Jermaine who was slowly scanning the space to see who's present.

"Hey guys" micheal greets

"Hey" we reply in unison

"Uhm alessandro alpha Ke'shaun has made his decision he would like to meet you in the back yard his mom and Isabelle are there i think they're ready to say their peace to the load of shit you have chained to your window" micheal says

"We'll i wasn't expecting them to have been so cooperative but it doesn't matter either way" alessandro shrugged

Walking over to kevin who was glaring daggers at him alessandro picked him up as if the man weighed nothing a threw him over his shoulders. He kept shifting around trying to break free so alessandro punched him in the side of his head knocking him out cold.

"Sweetie I'm gonna hang back here for a little while there's something that i need to do" i say via mindlink

"I know momma, from what you've told me I'd say its long overdue

"I love you mi bambino and don't kill that bastard before i get there"

I love you more mom, and i wouldn't dream of it"

"Ok lets go" he says out loud walking to the door

Micheal walked behind him followed by his three friends and then dad who gave me a thumbs up before leaving. I swear nothing gets past that man which is why i wasn't surprised when he told me he knew all along that he wasn't my biological father.

"Jermaine wait" i say stopping him as he's about to leave

He turned looking at me puzzled as i sat on the bed about to have an anxiety attack from how nervous i was.

"C-could i talk to you for a moment" i stutter

He just stood there staring at me like i just grew two heads. I know i haven't spoken to him in six month so i understand his reaction I'm also prepared for his rejection if he so chooses. He has every right not to want anything to do with me i know i hurt him.

"Close your mouth jermaine your drooling" i chuckled at his stunned reaction with his mouth wide open

"Sorry I'm just really surprised that your actually talking to me" he say sheepishly and i feel a pang of guilt tug at my heart

"Uh yeah uhm actually that's what i wanted to talk to you about" i say nervously

"Oh ok" was his simple response

"Look jermaine first of all i want to say I'm sorry for the way I've treated you over the past 6 months it was totally unfair and even though i had my reasons i convinced myself it was the right thing to do even though i knew it was wrong but i did it anyway. I was so caught up in myself i didn't realize what I've been doing to you, i hurt you jermaine and for that im extremely sorry" i apologise

"You don't have to apologize to me rosalyn its ok i understand. What you went through was traumatic to say the least and what that guy did to you-. I should be the one apologizing to you i promised you I'd protect you and i failed when you needed me the most" he replied

"You can't blame yourself for that jermaine it wasn't your fault how could you have know that my own mother would let someone rape me and if it wasn't for you he would have done a lot worse so as far as I'm concerned you did save me" i tell him

"Rose i-

"Look I'm really sorry for the way i treated you I'm not completely ok but I'm trying. I really hope you can forgive me jermaine and if you cant then i understand" i say unconsciously walking closer towards him

"I can't forgive you rosalyn because there's nothing to forgive. You did nothing wrong" he says pulling me into his arms

It felt wonderful to be near him again it was like my whole body was given life after nearly dying. I had no idea how much i craved his touch until this moment.

"I love you rose and nothing can ever change that" jermaine says looking at me, tears gathered in my eyes as i looked up at him.

"I-I love you too jermaine" i say also looking him in the eye so he could see it was the truth

Pulling me closer he gently placed his lips against mine. He was hesitant giving me the chance to pull away if i wanted to but there was no way i was gonna pull back. When i don't pull away he takes that as his answer and kisses me deeply pouring out all his emotions into the kiss, it was then that i really understood how he felt about me. When we broke away from the kiss jermaine wrapped his arms around me and we just stood their relishing in each other's embrace. Finally i could have my happy ending.

A few minutes later we decided to head to the back yard since everyone was most likely waiting on us

"So has he called them yet?" I ask

"Call who?" Uncle micheal asks

"Has ke'shaun called the council yet? I know they're still here" i say

"Wait what? I haven't seen them since you arrived i assumed they left after the meeting was over"

"Oh they're still here they never left they just concealed themselves so none could sense them"

Chuckling he says "yeah no one but you"

"And us" Sage says

"Ok listen up guys things are probably gonna get real messy the moment we step out of this house so here's the plan"

"Sage put up a strong barrier like the one before around kevin and cast protection spells on everyone else don't forget mom and Jermaine as well as aunt gen and the baby.

"Ok got it" she replies then starts chanting

"Brandon, Aj and uncle micheal I'm gonna need you guys for defense since i have kevin I'm gonna be the main target so I'll need your help to fend off attacks from the pack while i deal with the council members most likely they'll ambush us at once so be on your guard and grandpa i need you to go find aunt gen"
