Jace's POV

I was on my way back from the Mystic Pack knowing that we are official allies now and since it didn't take as long as I thought it was going to I was able to leave earlier then I thought and head back home. I was half way home when I stopped for the night so that I didn't fall asleep behind the wheel. I woke up early the next morning and got on the road to finish my journey home since I was very eager to get back to my family.

I sped the entire way back making it back in half the time it would've taken me. I parked in front of the house and got out it was late afternoon early evening when I walked into the house but something was off.

"Skylar, Lilith I'm home" I called out but no one answered back. Anxiety coursed through my veins as I ran throughout the house to look for them thinking maybe they were sleeping but no, no one was in the house and their scents weren't as strong. Panic surged through me as my mind starting to wonder and throw scenarios around at why they weren't here so I decided to try and link my mate and see if I could reach her and find out where she was.
