After all, Rex didn't have proof. He had asked Black to come back because he was so angry with him. He didn't know how his son could be so stupid.

"Black, I know how much you love Holley. I'll agree to your marriage if you make a promise to me." Rex had finally decided to compromise, but he wanted Black to be careful.

"Father, are you serious?" Black looked at Rex in disbelief.

Rex coughed lightly. "You'd better be careful. Watch her carefully, all right?"

"All right! Father, I will."

Black was happy to see that Rex had changed his mind.

At the hospital

Cassie saw that Holley was leaving. She had been disappointed to see the proud look on Holley's face.

Nick had just arrived to pick Cassie up. He immediately noticed that something was wrong with Cassie. He couldn't help but be worried, so he asked, "Cassie, what's wrong? Are you tired from work?"

"Nothing, I'm fine. It's just that I saw Holley leave. She's so proud and shameless, while Black is so kind. She's so terrible. How come her boyfriend is so nice?" Cassie thought that it was unfair.

Upon the mention of Holley, Nick's face darkened. He grabbed Cassie's hand and said urgently, "I'm going to find her right now."

"Nick, relax. Even if you catch up with her, what are you going to do?" Cassie knew that Nick would be impulsive, so she stopped him.

He was so angry that his body trembled, but he didn't know what to do.

"Cassie, how's Sher doing?" Nick could tell that Cassie was worried about him, so he calmed down. He decided to change the topic, so he wouldn't think about Holley anymore.

"Sher will be fine. Don't worry. You don't need to think about Holley. Just relax, okay? Let things be." Nick completely calmed down when Cassie comforted him.

"All right. Whatever you say. You're the boss, after all," Nick said gently, looking Cassie in the eye.

A smile crept onto Cassie's face.

Still, she was worried about Sheryl and angry with Holley.

They were going to have dinner with Isla, so they headed to the restaurant right away.

When they arrived at the restaurant, Isla was already waiting for them. Seeing them, she started to wave her hands.

"Why are you so late? I'm hungry! If Aron wasn't out with our baby, I would have canceled on you two!" Isla only feigned being angry to tease them. They were very close, after all.

"Isla, what do you want to eat? You decided. I'll foot the bill for this one," Nick offered.

Isla rolled her eyes and then grabbed the menu. She quickly proceeded to order a lot of food.

Fortunately, it didn't take long before their food arrived. Isla was easily appeased. As they ate, they happily chatted with one another.
