The Arena novel Chapter 35

Read The Arena Chapter 35: Cedric - the best manga of 2020

Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is The Arena. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 35: Cedric. Let's read the author's The Arena Internet story right here.

Well, my mate may be willing to let me help her when she’s injured, but she certainly made it clear that she doesn’t want to spend any more time with me than she has to. But if she thinks that’s it, she’s got another thing coming. I won’t give up that easily.

There’s no way I’m leaving her and Ishir and possibly Avani to fight against these people. When we get back to the packhouse, I call Bastian and Galen into my office again.

As they walk up the hallway, I can hear them talking. “No way she’s more attractive than our Luna.” I hear Galen saying.

“I’m telling you, she’s gorgeous, and there’s something about her,” Bastian says as they walk into the office.

“What? What is so special about her?” Galen says.

“I don’t know. Maybe it’s her red hair or her green eyes.” That gets my attention.

“She’s got red hair and green eyes?” I ask sharply.

“Well, yes, Alpha. I thought I mentioned that before.”

“No, you didn’t. What else can you tell me about her.” Could Tana be hiding in the human city?

“She has a daughter.”

“How do you know it’s her daughter?” I ask.

“Well, she’s the spitting image of her mother. The same red hair, the same intelligent eyes. Although the daughter’s eyes are blue. And if I thought I was drawn to the woman, it was almost impossible for me to walk away from the girl.”

I shake my head. It can’t be Tana then.

“For the record, that woman, whoever she is, is nowhere near as gorgeous as your Luna. And if you feel so strongly toward her and her child, why not just take her as your mate?”

“I don’t know. It feels … wrong.”

“Well, when you figure it out, let me know. Until then, I need you to focus. We have another arena to bring down and this one, this one will be difficult.”

“What are you thinking?” Bastian asks.

“I think we need to look into explosives. I don’t see another way to bring down the arena. They’ve prepared for Tana’s fire. The walls are too thick, even for a dragon. There’s no way that they can bring the arena down on their own. So, what do we know about explosives?”

“Alpha, even if we can get some explosives, how will we get them into a place where we can bring down the arena and not kill the supernaturals in the underground?” Galen asks.

“I want to put them into the walls before they finish building out the arena.”

“So, we need to hurry. You said they were less than a month away from completing it.”

“Yes.”

A week later, Galen and I are headed to the new arena with an arsenal and a group of warriors. It takes us a couple of days, given the explosives we have. We have also purchased some grenade launchers and assault rifles to even out the battlefield. Shifters may not need to use weapons, as a rule, but it doesn’t mean that we don’t know how.

When we get there, it’s worse than I imagined. Not only are they still moving at a ridiculously fast pace to get this arena completed, but they are also bringing in the supernaturals. A truck begins unloading what can only be shifters, already in the reinforced cages. While most look unconscious, some are awake, and some are shifted. The shifters in their animal form are trying to attack the hunters as they pass by them. As we watch, hunters shoot a polar bear who is snarling and swiping at them with her giant paws. Whatever they use knocks her out quickly, and we watch as she is forced to shift back to her human form.

They begin wheeling the supernaturals into the underground. I can see that there are more than just shifters this time. It looks like they’ve included some warlocks, faeries, and what must be elves into the mix. The battles with any of those supernaturals would be violent. Again, all of the supernaturals they are bringing in look like they are top predators or warriors in their respective supernatural groups.
